Don’t leave til tomorrow, what you can accomplish today!

“You control your future, your destiny. What you think about comes about. By recording your dreams and goals on paper, you set in motion the process of becoming the person you most want to be. Put your future in good hands – your own.”  -Mark Victor Hansen

You know by now that I love to motivate and promote following your dreams, especially if it involves starting your own business.  Don’t let your lack of confidence {“You can do it!”}, minimal knowledge {Have you met the internet?}, your age {Justin Bieber is sort of successful} or any other doubts get in your way of realizing your dreams.  In the end, win, lose or draw- you will say you started your own business.  It’s the hard work, dedication, research and planning that aides in your graduating from a start-up to a successful ran small business.  Whether you are online, have a brick-n-mortar, you make contact door-to-door, are B2B or B2C,  running your own business gives you a personal sense of accomplishment and purpose {at least it does for me}.  Seeing the business through and not giving up on your vision is the hard part, especially in the early stages as I am in.  So don’t be discouraged if you don’t get “Re-pinned“, “Liked” or “Followed“, eventually with time that will come {People have to find you relevant, show them you are}.  Continue to believe in your product and/or service {and learn from your mistakes}, because if you don’t, why should your potential customer invest in your brand?  I love to share, so here is some inspiration from another blogger/business owner,  Connecticut’s own- Mackenzie Horan of Design Darling.

“Don’t wait until everything is just right. It will never be perfect.

There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions.

So what. Get started now. With each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger,

more and more skilled, more and more self-confident and more and more successful.”

– Mark Victor Hansen

Think Nike slogan: “Just Do It!”  Either you make that terrifying leap of faith or you forever live in the world of What-If’s and shoulda, woulda, coulda.  A friendly reminder: The Everyday Socialista is here to assist you in presenting a unified front to the world…  What are your thoughts on starting your own business? {Leave a comment}
